Dessert brings you to a happy place, makes your tummy smile, and overall makes everything right in the world; A truly amazing desert will take you to places you’ve never seen before, and no one does it better than Vito’s! Creating everything from delicious cheesecake to an out of this world flourless chocolate cake that allows people with gluten sensitivities to enjoy a sweet treat they haven’t been able to before, Vito’s desserts are the best in valley!
Flourless Chocolate Cake
Because not many restaurants or bakeries have perfected the art of gluten-free cake making, we will start with our favorite. Sink your teeth into this rich and moist chocolate cake created by blending four different chocolates and a luscious ganache topping and you may not be able to stay away. Dessert for dinner? We say YES!
No self-respecting Italian restaurant could call itself the best in the valley without offering flaky homemade cannoli filled with rich cream, and forgive us for patting ourselves on the back here, but Vito’s cannoli will rock your world! Dipping it in chocolate chips and crushed pistachios gives this dessert that little something extra. Give it a try, we think you will agree!
Spumoni Ice Cream
Sometimes you just want a little something simple to cleanse your palate after a big meal, and our spumoni does just that! There’s something special about this icy treat, created with pistachio ice cream and mixed with cherries and more crushed pistachio. Pistachio and cherries? This is almost too healthy to be called dessert!
Warm and velvety molten chocolate combine with cold and creamy vanilla bean ice cream to create a pairing that will have your taste buds singing with every rich and gooey bite! Vito’s lava cake is heaven on a plate!
Another Italian standard that Vito’s somehow manages to improve upon, tiramisu is a treat we could eat at every meal! We don’t know who first came up with the idea of dipping lady fingers in rum and espresso and then layering on mascarpone cheese and topping the delicacy with cocoa shavings, but we love their creation!
For rich desserts that taste like something any Italian grandmother would have created in her own kitchen, you have to go to Vito’s in Scottsdale or Mesa—no one does it better!
